How Jojoba Can Give You Longer, Fuller Eyelashes

Posted by

Do you suffer from sparse lashes or lashes that won't grow long enough? Jojoba oil is one of nature's most precious healers, and it does wonders for improving not only eyelash growth, but hair growth in general.

How Does Jojoba Oil Work?

Jojoba oil is bursting with beneficial ingredients, including Vitamin E, Vitamin B complex, silicon, chromium, copper and zinc. It also contains 82% iodine which helps it to heal damage. Along with this, it contains beneficial fatty acids that moisturize and keep hair and lashes soft and nourished.

What do all these nutrients do for you? The healthier your lashes are, the more likely they are to grow and the LESS likely they are to fall out. Lashes fall out more when they are dry, brittle, and under-nourished. Your lashes are sooo delicate that the more you can do to give them healing and nutrition the better. Full, long lashes require moisture (from the fatty acids in jojobba oil), freedom from bacteria (from iodine content in jojoba oil), and strength (from healing vitamins and minerals).

How Do I Apply Jojoba Oil to My Lashes?

Simply use a cotton swab or Q-tip to apply a small amount of jojoba oil to your lashes. You can also use this on your eyebrows to fill them in and improve growth. If you've ever gotten tweezer-happy about your eyebrows, jojoba oil is a great tool for correcting this.

Where Can I Get Jojoba Oil?

You can get your own pure jojoba oil here. You can also find jojoba oil, although probably at a higher price, at certain local health food stores. Make sure you get 100% pure jojoba oil, though, for the best results. Many companies will dilute it to save money.
